Introduction to the Rules of League of Legends TCG Card Games
In the competitions of League of Legends TCG cards (such as Rune Battlefield), the following rules must be followed:
Deck and card rules
Deck composition: A deck is typically composed of 40 cards, including legendary cards, hero cards, unit cards, spell cards, equipment cards, etc. Among them, a maximum of 3 cards with the same number and the same name can be inserted.
Rune Card usage: There are 12 rune cards in the game as cost resources. You can only choose 2 colors from 6, and these two colors must correspond to the legendary cards. Players can freely choose the number of rune cards of different colors. At the beginning of each round, players can place 2 talisman cards vertically on the field for free. The subsequent player can place an additional one in the first round, with a maximum cost of 12 fees.
Battlefield Card selection: At the start of the game, each player draws one battlefield card and places it on the field. Battlefield cards have a significant impact on the outcome of the game. When building a deck, players should invest as many battlefield cards as possible that are beneficial to their side.
Battle process rules
Turn-based process:
At the beginning of the round: Players reset all the horizontally placed characters and draw one card from the top of the energy pool and place it face to face in the energy area (the placement position is arbitrary). The first-mover player does not draw cards in the first round.
The main stage: Players can perform various operations, such as placing a character card that meets the energy requirements face to face horizontally from their hand, placing an energy card face up on the top of the energy pool from their hand, and choosing one of their own characters to fight against an enemy character (in an empty field, an enemy player can be chosen), etc.
Round end stage: When a player declares the end of the round, the main stage comes to an end. After that, players alternate in the round and enter the round player exchange stage again.
Battle rules: Character cards will remain on the field after being played, and spell cards will be placed in the scrap pile after their effects are calculated. Some spell cards have a "standby" mechanism. After paying the fee, they can be placed face down on the entry board. They can be used after paying the fee in subsequent rounds. After the equipment card is played, it remains on the field and can be used for effects at specific times.
Victory conditions: The game adopts a point-based + scoring system. The player who first reaches 8 points wins. When a player reaches 7 points, the 8th point must be obtained either by "occupying 2 battlefields after the attack in the current round" or by "successfully defending". In addition, some special battlefield cards may offer special means of victory.
Competition etiquette and norms
Battle etiquette: Before and after a battle, players should try their best to greet their opponents. During the battle, it is necessary to clearly define operations such as the transition between rounds and stages, the declaration of the cards being used and their effects, and the designation of health points. The opponent also needs to respond appropriately. Players need to properly organize the positions and states of their cards and handle the cards of their opponents carefully. When you want to view the cards of your opponent, you must first obtain their permission. You are not allowed to view their hand or pile of cards (unless there are relevant instructions on the cards). When leaving your seat during a match, you need to obtain permission from your opponent and the referee (or staff) first.
Rule compliance: If there are any unclear points during the battle, players can call the referee (or staff) for confirmation and follow their judgment. All referees have the right to intervene, point out and correct when they discover rule errors, improper behavior of players or suspected improper behavior.
